
The Spanish Committee of the World Energy Council (CECME), the Spanish Energy Club (ENERCLUB) and the Spanish Institute for Strategic Studies (IEEE), and the Centro Superior de Estudios de la Defensa Nacional (CESEDEN), presented the ninth edition of the publication “Energy and Geostrategy” on May 26th.
The event was attended by Antonio Brufau, Chairman of Repsol; Iñigo Díaz de Espada, Chair of CECME; María Victoria Zingoni, President of ENERCLUB, and Juan Francisco Martínez, Admiral and Secretary General for Defence Policy, Ministry of Defence.
In addition, the main issues of world geopolitics were debated with the participation of Víctor Baz, Deputy Director of International Relations at Repsol, and Francisco José Dacoba, Brigadier General and Director of the IEEE
The authors of the study and its coordinator, the former Minister of Industry and Energy, Claudio Aranzadi, analysed the issues addressed in this 2022 edition, the structure of which is as follows:
